Let's start off by noting that Hawaii is American but geographically not North American. Still, I think we can say it's "Asian North American" by nationality and culture.
P. 134 - I was a Nutrition & Food Science major in college, but that was a long time ago! I recently came across some different artificial flavoring descriptions and it looks like 2,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxy-3(2H)-furanone (aka furaneol) is more often used as an aritificial strawberry flavoring. Artificial grape is methyl anthranilate (menthyl 2-aminobenzoate; this is actually present in Concord grapes) and/or ethyl heptaoate.
P. 159 - First sentence after the block quote should not have "not," so, "Of course, 'pure understanding' and 'in accordance with the divine Word' are
P. 213 - the "ắ" in "mắm" in "nước mắm" should have an acute (rising) rather than grave (falling) accent. Otherwise, how are you going to get your fishy breath on?
P. 223 - fifth bulletted item should start with "Icons" not "cons"
